Noticed a strange mark in the water at Packet Boat Marina and then... Noticed the same mark several miles away in Shepherds Bush. The photos must have been taken using the same camera and without cleaning the lens in between. I reckon it is early morning - mid week between June 1st and June 8th 2003 If anyone finds any more please let me know. Thanks, Mark.

Went to look at Big Ben to determine the time the photos were taken. From the clock face and position of the sun, I estimate that they must have been taken at around 8 am. And guess what, in the water nearby, another lens mark. This means that all three of these places were more than likely photographed on the same day. (Same camera, lens not cleaned between shots). Anyone find any more or have another theory, please let me know, Mark.

Nearby to the first mark in Packet Boat Marina on the Slough Arm of the canal. Again, checking through my photographs, I have a picture taken at 10am on 8th June 2003 with a boat in the background at a similar position to the ones near the old rail bridge which crosses the canal. The general rule on the canals is that you can moor anywhere for up to 14 days, then you must move on. Chances are that this boat is the same one, and that puts the Google photo 14 days either side of June 8th 2003.
