Using Google Earth to FLY through a planned fl

I am also a Private Pilot and I have been working on the same problem. I recorded a recent XC from Spokane to Yakima (Washington) on my Garmin etrex. I uploaded my track and waypoints into GE plus and saved the track as a kml. I was then able to modify that kml with Gps Visualizer
The site gives you lots of options to be able to display your flight with color coding for altitude, heading, speed etc. It turns out to be pretty humbling. Here is the post of that flight with overlays for sectionals as well. As for flying the route in a tour mode, I am still working on that. However, you can use GE4 with the time function to see where your plane was in time by moving the slider. Good luck

This is not very useful to 99% of the google earth community and really just represents ugly clutter. This is not far removed from grafitti. If you're posts are not going to point out any real piece of information, why not remove them.
