2.5 km (1.5 mile) freight train

This train is 2.49 km (1.55 miles) long. Is this a normal length for a train?

I think the satellite picture has been updated and your train is gone!

2.5km is about 8200 feet - nothing too long. US trains can reach 10,000 feet and above I believe.

Just as a note, this is the CN Halton Sub from Toronto to Hamilton, with the line continuing to Niagra Falls and the USA
