I've see plane 'ghosts' ahead of planes before, but this is on the ground. A Airbus 340-500 at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France.

Hi Scotty
It's not an Airbus 340, It's an Air France 747

I think I will say "this airplane" from now on. Then if it is not a train or boat I'll get it right.

hahahahaha
Also ghost ID is not correct...
In fact those are not even the same plane, although the model is the same. The clearest one, as already suggested, is an Air France B 747-400, the other one, the "ghost", is a Thai B 747-400.
Merging aerial pictures can cause tricks like that

haha i know the feeling. I can get some close but im usually wrong on the big ones. But a good way to tell the 2 common four engine ones apart (B747 & A340) is the wing sweep. 747 wings are angled way to the back, more than any other large transport plane. And i think its 2nd to ALL civilian transport planes, only the bizjet Cessna Citation X has more swept wings.
