Photovoltaic system Delphos nearby Foggia in Italy was built in two parts. The first part with rated power of 308 kW has been operating since 1986, and the second part with rated power 3 x 100 kW since 1992. Both parts are connected to the 20 kW public grid. The second part consists of three 100 kW units; the first was planned as part of the whole system with ability to operate as a standalone system. The module area of 5,760 modules in the first part measures 3,800 m2, where the modules are mounted into a single row with fixed tilt angle of 20° on land area surface of 4,400 m2. The second subunit consists of many parallel module rows with total module area of 2,700 m2 on land area of 8,500 m2. The total number of modules in the second subunit is 2,700.
