Not sure about your claim here. I've been all over this base when I was in the Air Force, and I've had access to a lot of the areas on the RandD side of this base, and this location is actually a park with a running track that I've been all over. There isn't air vents all over this area.

Without so much as a security fence? I doubt it. What type of "nuke facility" is it anyway...I would imagine with all those apartment buildings right there it wouldn't be anything classified or dangerous, right?

The parking lot (for the Air Force Institute of Technology-AFIT) conceals nothing. The "air vents" are connected to the network of steam heating tunnels beneath the base. I've been in some of them. See if your "sharp" eyes can find the coal-fired plant that supplies the steam. See if your sharp intellect can root out the history of steam-heated industrial facilities (including military bases).
