Great idea Joey! Before I tried it, I assumed Google must've done some fancy coding for the Flight Simulator to enable us to land on a 3D object. But, as I suspected, they still don't have collision detection for 3D models which means you can't land on the carrier.
But, it sure is fun to try and get yourself positioned for the landing anyway.

Gerardo, Hey, i found a cool fix for your brake problems !
Check Video for Flying with Google Earth Flight Simulator
Frank created the YouTube and posted it @ Google Earth Blog
Here are a few hints to get on the deck:,
F , until 100% flaps pgdwn, reduce speed
float to the deck & hit the Space Bar = Breaks if you wait too long you will be looking around the inside of the ships hull once on deck, ctrl Arrow = look around
or
pump up the throttle & hang it by the prop. as you drift across the deck hit the space bar and call for the fire crew!

That's really cool.
But (as a real pilot) flying it from a keyboard, it's way over sensitive. Can I turn down the gain?

Andy, you are right about the keyboard. Try with the mouse. Simple put the cursor in the middle of the HUD and clic. Then you can fly smothly..
