A spectacular canyon consisting of conglomerates, sandstones, siltstones and shales eroded into 'hoodoos.' The 1500-foot cliffs provide sweeping vistas of the lower Methow Valley and the Cascade Crest. Managed as a wildlife area, the canyon and surrounding hills are a beautiful example of an intact shrub-steppe ecosytem. An excellent area for birders and native plant enthusiasts.
