kmz file icons and labels disappear when I zoom in

I have created a number of kmz files using GPS waypoints and they all work fine.

Lately I created one that when I start to zoom in close all the labels and icons disappear. any ideas?

With some playing around I found that if I disable the terrain feature then I can zoom in. Why would this affect the kmz file that I have posted? All other files I have created work when the terrain feature is enabled.
