Living Waters aims to integrate Permaculture principles and design concepts into everyday life with the development of a strata-title eco-village community on the edge of Denmark in Western Australia

South West Australia ---Our inheritance is a glimpse of ancient Gondwanaland: a rare ecosystem that has evolved without major geological upheaval for many millions of years. The south west forests are renowned throughout the world as a "botanical hotspot" - more diversity per square metre than nearly any where else.

Solar Herb Dryer
The solar herb dryer under construction at Living Waters will be the largest of it's kind in the southern hemisphere. The aim of the project is to stimulate a herb industry in the region as a viable alternative to the entrenched wheat-sheep-canola agricultural systems. These are inherently unsustainable in their use of synthetic nutrition and high dependence on fossil fuel.
