A Google Earth layer depicting the elimination of mature forest habitat in the McKay Tract east of Eureka, California. Green Diamond is proposing residential development in the northwestern portion of the tract.

Red= Green Diamond Resource Company 'McKay Tract' 2,000 acres.

Orange= 'McKay 09' Timber Harvest Plan targeting most signigicant remaining stands in the tract.

Yellow= 1,000 ft. radius surrounding Northern Spotted Owl Nesting Sites as of 2006.

Green Shaded= Highlighting areas logged since 2005.
