I'm pretty sure that was Richard Scrushy's house. It was for sale but I'm not sure who bought it!

It's Larry House's former mansion. He was former CEO of HealthSouth and MedPartners. Was once Schusy's right-hand man.

This is definately Larry House's old house 36mil to build. It is on 30+ acres in the exclusive community of Shoal Creek outside of Birmingham, AL. I worked on this house for a couple of years. it is the most incredible house you have ever seen if flamboyance is your thing. he was the CEO of Med Partners and went belly up on a proposed merger with Phycor (spelling?) out of Nashville years ago. he was and probably still is good friends with Richard Scrushy of Health South. They are both an absolute bunch of crooks and thiefs and have ruined many peoples lives. You can buy it now for pennies on the dollar. Good luck.

I remember the first time I saw it in person. I flew over it leaving Birmingham on a business trip, and just happened to have a window seat on that side of the plane. Good Gawd ! Look at that Driveway. I remember saying. (LOL) Everyone on that side of the plane started rubber-necking out the window. I shouldn't have said it so loud.
