These helis are actually HH-60 Pave Hawks- the Air Force's version of the Blackhawk. They're equipped for rescue missions and have air-refueling probes.

Agreed! They are from the 943rd Rescue Group at Davis Monthan AFB. Although I am a bit skeptical about them, because I can't see the refueling probe on them, like the ones to the north of them. Here are some more HH-60's at Nellis AFB, from the 53rd Wing.You can clearly see the refueling probe.

hi!

well, the title says it all. have a look : error, burned picture or else..(i didn't saw that kind of thing anywhere else)

ps: I don't reach to find again a site where a lot of blackhawks places were listed (kind of contest) so I post here. I use GE 4.2 and it seems that a lot of old marked places are no longer valid or interesting but I found this one near an old location I found at that site.

Actually these Pavehawks belong to the 355th rescue group, if you look north on the ramp, the pave hawks at the end of the tarmac are 943rd. My wife is in the 943rd maintenance squadron.
