Hidden Hawaii: Palolo Valley || Kaau Crator Trail || Waiomao Stream || Palikea

I plan on continuing to post additional such photos of sites around Hawaii. All posts in this series will be prefixed "Hidden Hawaii:"

The Palolo Valley Trail is really one of the most worthwhile and spectacular I've found on Oahu after seven years of living in Hawaii. The difficulty is intermediate however some beginning hikes may consider it advanced. For the average hiker the only advanced sections are scaling the cliffs to the side of the waterfall using the ropes that you find there.

The perspective of this photo is from standing on top of the waterfall looking down. The water is cascading on the left side of the image where it falls to the pool below. Zoom out to see where this waterfall is in respect to Honolulu.

To Newbies or those who just don't know...
The google WORLD is not FLAT

1) Under Layers turn on Terrain
2) Use naviagtion control to fly through the world
