De balgstuw in Ramspol is een waterkering die bij hoogwater de ingang van het Zwarte Meer kan afsluiten. Zo wordt het achterliggende gebied tot aan Zwolle beschermd tegen het water van het IJsselmeer. Het is een unieke waterkering; drie 80 meter lange balgen van rubberdoek vullen zich bij overstromingsgevaar automatisch met water en lucht.
