This immense scar on the Earth's crust is the creator of Loch Ness...and predates the opening of the Atlantic Ocean. Interestingly, it passes through the bulk of the Celtic World, both old and new, bisecting Scotland, Ireland, Newfoundland and Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia (New Scotland). A case of Geodemography?
