In this KML file you ´ll see 4 time animations (in Network Link format):

10 Months time animation of Land Surface Temperature during Day hours (From January to October 2007)

10 Months time animation of Land Surface Temperature during Night hours
(From January to October 2007)

1 year time animation of Atmosferic Carbon Monoxide (Global) from September 2006 to August 2007

13 months time animation of Sea Surface Temperature (Global) From October 2006 / October 2007

First thing first: Tips for Fast Download:

Check the first NetworkLink and spread the time slider control as shown in this picture:

After the image has completely download, check the next NL, and so on till the last one from that folder is downloaded.
Finally "close" the time controls as shown, select the corresponding folder and press Play to see the animation:

Use the data to learn things...

Is very nice to use our imagination mixing different data to view "new" interesting things. For example. Let´s take a look at a specific area of the Andes mountains in South America.
Do this:

...and then....

Do you see (trough the colors) the huge difference between day and night temperature? We are talking about the same month - January 2007 - so, we can think a little and notice that that area must be a kind of desert. It´s very high, and you have to take a lot of water for the day and a coat for the night...

About

I made these animations using KML files available at NASA Neo Site . This site is a very cool tool for analize images with many types of information.
This is a little Tutorial to learn how you can use it: For instance, here I choosed Land Temperature (Day) in October 2007:

Then, I added Land Temperature (Night), also in October 2007:

Ok, now you check the numbers in our area of interest. 36ēC during day....-7ēC at night..., seems to be a desert! Cool!

There´s a lot of images you can use to interact with, tough there´s a limit of 3 images per analysis..
Also you can download any analysis you make and run it in your computer without internet connection.

EDIT: If get an error when checking a NetworkLink to view it, simple refresh it (right clic over it and Refresh).
