Palo Verde Nuclear Plant

Right on the edge of a high res area. This is, I think, the nations largest nuclear plant. Was in the news recently because of possible terrorist threat. I had always wanted to tour this facility but the way things are these days this is about as close as I'll probably get !

Some of the most stunning sunrises I've ever seen have been while approaching this plant from the west on I-10, with the sun striking the huge steam-plumes rising from the evaporation towers above the surrounding buttes and mesas...
