NOTE: Modified attached file to point to PicasaWeb photos instead of embedded photos so it will work in GEC Layers properly.
Last week I attended the Wirefly X PRIZE Cup. This event had rocket launches, jets, telescopes, famous astronauts (including recent space tourist Anousheh Ansari), and much more. Plus, Google was there with a booth showing off Google Earth. I took a lot of photos, and the attached file is a small selection which have been geotagged in Google Earth. You should first load this aerial photo of the event (which I took from a plane while I was there) where you can get some perspective on the size, scale and orientation of the event and the photos. The aerial photo loads up in Google Earth (it takes a while to fully load depending on your connection - zoom in to get it all).

I geotagged the photos using Picasa and Google Earth. And then chose the "Tools -> Export to Google Earth" option to create this file.
You can also view the Picasa web album of these photos.

Very nice Frank. Everything is tied together very nicely - geotagged photos, aerial overlay and all. Thanks.

Thanks guys...in my write up on my blog I've also included my GPS track. I wore a GPS during part of one of the days as I walked around the events. You can see where I spent a lot of time at the Google Booth and at the FBO (fixed based operator) where I was checking Internet and eating meals. :-)
