As shown on the Google Earth Gallery recently, We have finally finished converting our entire global VR network of more than 3000 high-resolution, spherical panoramas photos of over 30 cities into the new PhotoOverlay format. www.360cities.net/ge.kml
New: as of November 26 2007, we're now covering 36 cities, with more than FOUR THOUSAND high-resolution pnaoramas from all over the world.

Here is a screenshot from Old Town Square in Prague where many of these spheres are quite close together, and another screenshot "inside" one of the panoramas from Charles Bridge at night. You can see nearby markers as "hotspots" inside the image....
The PhotoOverlays still have a few rough edges - the default field of view for example is too small - but, I hope you can agree that the effect altogether is often quite lovely ;-)
Be sure to check out Marshall Islands, Mumbai, and the Arctic, our most exotic locations so far (with Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Tokyo also growing very nicely). Our Germany 360 presence is picking up lots of steam also with Munich, Hamburg, and Stuttgart already online, with at least 2 more german cities under development. Some of the most heavily photographed cities include Prague, Moscow, Vancouver, Venice, Stockholm, Stuttgart, St. Petersburg, and London.
Anyone who is a VR photographer is invited to apply to our network, please feel free to contact us!
If you want to request another city, leave a comment on this thread :-)
Regards!
Jeffrey Martin
