It sounds as if the kml file type isn't associated with Google Earth. Try right-clicking on the link and selecting 'Save Target As' to save the file to your desktop. Find the file, then right click on it and select 'Open With'->'Choose Program'. Select Google Earth from the list, tick the 'Always Use' box, and that should restore the association of .kml with Google Earth. |
