All trails on Moscow Mountain are on private land and are closed to motorized use. Please respect the land and wishes of the landowners.

Cave Trail replaces the old 'Sand Trail' that was opened up to a logging road back in the late 90's. At the end of North Contour, head downhill and across a meadow, bearing slightly to the right and over a big rock. Watch for a small water bar about 25 yards after the rock. The trail entrance is hidden on the right about 15 yards after the water bar.

Cave trail is not for beginners, and will probably frustrate a lot of intermediate riders as well. The middle section of the trail is very technical, but it can be walked by virtually anyone.

The trail pops out on an old logging road. Head to the right, and continue uphill for about 1/4 mile to a red gate. Stay to the right most road, and look for the trail to drop off on the right side. This trail will bring you back to the Lower Tusk (right at the bridge over two fallen trees). Take a left on Lower Tusk and you'll wind up back at 4-corners.
