Interesting find Panarimi. If you look 37 metres to the south east of the centre of the main circles you can see another smaller set of circular waves. I thought for a while that it may have been caused by some sort of surge through a blowhole from the nearby ocean, but that is unlikely and I can't find any documentation about that, so, It appears that all of the boats from the close proximity have been removed from their moorings,, I wonder if someone is using explosives to remove the rough, shallow clusters of reef rock from the area. That method is used over here to flatten such obsticles in marinas that cause problems at low tide, and when fired, look very similar to this image. |
