Collection details

All the stops are now covered by high resoluton images and there are plenty of trams to been seen at various stations, with an especially nice view of a tram waiting at Area stop.

Many trams and trolleybuses ran in London until the 1950's, when the last ones were removed to make way for cars and buses, but we realised recently that it might be a good idea to bring some back.

This tram system opened in 2000 and, so far, it's the only one in London - but there are plans for more.

The collection also includes the three routes as Google Earth Paths, shown in the colour of each route. To view a fly-through of a route, select it and click on the 'play button'.

The description bubble of each station placemark includes links to:
  • A location area transport map (where available)
  • A link to the Tramlink website
