The entire Nome Alaska area is covered by a thick layer of clouds. Various parts of the southern Seward pennisula have patchy clouds and shadows but are nowhere near as severe as Nome. I just created this account to find some way to report this problem, so if this is the wrong place to mention it sorry. Hopefully Google can get this fixed in time for the Iditarod
