It's not that I don't like Mars the way it is, but some seas, lakes, rivers, forests, prairies and tundras would make it even better. I created a global terraforming overlay for Google Earth, turning it into Mars, some twohundred years in the future. I added a lot of placemarks and some touristic information (with more to come over time)

The aim of the Modified Mars-project is not to discuss the ethical aspects of terraforming (though it may be clear that I think it's a good idea...) or the technical details, but rather to explore the touristic potential of a terraformed planet. so make sure you visit the giftshop as well
