While it is true that the earth has historically gone through cycles of heating and cooling, increases in C02 and temperature have never occurred at the current rate. Even with past trends of temperature increase and decrease, the current global temperature should start to decrease, the complete opposite of what is occurring.

I am not an expert on global climate change but I trust those who are. While I am not a proponent of blind acceptance, I think it is time that people finally accept what over 99% of the scientific community has been telling us for decades. Yes, there may be some disagreements between some scientists and slight differences in models and conclusions, but the overall consensus still remains that global warming is occurring and that human related activity is the primary cause.
