This kml file contains a sample of the native flora of Chile belonging to the herbarium of the Faculty of Agronomy and Forest Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. These samples were collected along different vegetation regions in Chile.

Each icon, represented by a “Palma Chilena” (Jubaea Chilensis), shows one or several collection points with information about the scientific name, botanic family, geographical location and other interesting links.

Our objective is to present a representative group of Chilean species in an educative and digital format. This kml file is a part of the final work developed by John Acuña, undergraduate student in Forest Engineering, under the supervision of professors Marcelo Miranda and Miguel Gomez.
