Since the original "A salute to the Ubiquitous DC-3" post was first published, I've been surprised at how popular these planes have been with Google Earth users. The post has turned out to be one of the most viewed and most replied to posts in these forums. Lots of people really love the old "Gooney Bird".

Because so many have an interest, it makes sense to expand our knowledge of where we can go to find them. So I'm adding this sub-thread to provide information on the locations of known DC-3's not visible from the air.

I'm further sub-dividing this thread into " DC-3's in Museums " and " Unresolvable DC-3's ". If you wish to contribute, please provide some sort of a link to a web-site so that others can find out more about the plane(s) before heading off to visit them.
