Since this is not an "active" search mission, Greg is finding that the officials with the answers are frequently slow to respond to his requests for information as they have other more pressing matters. He is finding that he has to follow up with people several times before finally getting the information he wants. We will update the mission briefing with what new information he has gathered shortly. But first he has to meet with the Boychuk family to give them an update as to our progress and to interview all of Ron Boychuk's sons together as a group.

Frequently we may withhold some information and status updates for a period of time until we have first briefed the family or search team of the individual we are looking for out of respect for them. I'm sure everyone can appreciate the need to first inform the families of missing individuals.

We may also have to withhold information if requested to do so by the family of the missing individual(s) and/or search team we are working for. Hopefully this won't happen very often, but I think everyone can understand that we need to respect the wishes of the families.

I know that the wait for answers can be frustratingly slow (it is for me as well), but Greg does regularly go through this forum thread and collect questions for investigation. We will post answers to questions as confirmed information becomes available. We might find that negative answers could be slower in coming as it can be harder to confirm that something did not happen than it is to confirm that something did happen. It isn't that we are trying to withhold information unnecessarily, but rather would prefer not to release erroneous information if we can avoid it.
