Google Maps Link Hello I think I found the skull of a cattle in a high res area in the Mali desert. Around the skull there are also some bones visible. ![]() See also: Googlesightseeing - N'dama Skull Discussion on Google Earth Hacks Alex from Googlesightseeing found the species. Hi, Felippo, Well spotted. From the scattered bones it looks as if a predator or scavenger has had a free meal as well! This small hi-res area is one of a series of images taken by the photographer Michael J Fay on his "African Mega Flyover" and is part of our National Geographic Layer - if you enable this layer, you'll see many small aircraft symbols showing the location of other such images. Cheers Frank |

Another post (Post: Villagers wave back) identified another flyover picture in this general area within the past week. When I looked at it, like this placemark it has no Megaflyover placemark. I noted it here and traced the path of 100 or more unmarked pictures. Curiously, these 100 views never were marked by anybody until last week. |

Great find, Felippo! I love these Flyover shots. The only thing I'd like better on this continent is being there! Diane |

How do I fly in to see my house |

Hi george23 and welcome to Google Earth! ![]() Depending on where you live, you might just have to type in your address (where it says "Search" at the top left hand side). If you are lucky, it will fly to your home. Alternatively, read through this and navigate your way there ![]() Please note that there is no guarantee that your house will be visible. But there is a high likelihood of it!

Hi Hill, Are the missing Megaflyover markers going to be added? Maybe you can throw your weight around at GE and get someone working on that. I want to see them! Meanwhile, I'll check out the "Villagers wave back"...Diane |

I don't think there will be markers for all of the unmarked Flyover photos, as most of them really have nothing or little of interest. I did mark the route flown and Frank4 placemarked each one of that group plus a group nearby that I missed. My thought is to make a new thread with links back to those that have been found. |

Hi Thank you all for your reply. Here comes another "rare" GE-object, a 2,4 meter crocodile near a herd of hippos in Sambia. ![]() Greetings Felippo

Thank you all Sadly all the placemarks from this thread dissapeared from Google Earth. I wonder why. Regards, Felippo |
