Earthlights - help!!

|
I somehow activated "earthlights" (I thinbk) feature on Google earth and now I can't shut it off - the result is that I see the lights eminated from cities towns etc.. all over the globe as if I were looking at the earth at night - very pretty but I can't shut it off and go back to seeing locations in a daylight view...can't see raods buildings etc..
Please help, many thanks.

It sounds like this is an overlay. In your Places folder (left column), there will be some checked box that says "earthlights". You must uncheck this box for the overlay to turn off. More than likely, this is in your Temporary Places folder.
