So you know you posted in a forum, but you can't find your post? There are several likely reasons:

1. Forum traffic is very heavy. Posts often "sink" very quickly so that in less than a day they are many pages behind page 1 in a given forum.

2. You may have posted in a different forum than you thought.

3. You may have posted in the wrong forum. For instance, "My Home" does not belong in any forum other than Member-centric Forum. Moderators constantly review posts and move them to appropriate forums. Because of the heavy traffic in the forums, they don't have the time to write Personal Mail to each poster who has had a post moved.

4. You may have replied to a post that was later deleted by the original poster. Moderators remove threads where the Original Post has been deleted by the original poster. Responses disappear with the original post.

5. You may have replied and your reply was off the topic of the thread or forum, so your reply was separated from the thread along with replies to your thoughts and a new thread was started either in the same forum or a more appropriate one.

6. You may have broken a BBS rule. (Do's and Do Not's ). Your post was removed because of inappropriate content.

7. Your post has good design and content, is probably of interest to many readers, and has been moved to a Moderated forum

8. Your post was full of HTTP code and although the placemark may have displayed correctly, the post body was full of code clutter. Go here to see how to avoid that problem.

You can find where your post has been moved by using Search . Type your username into the username search box. You will see where all of your posts are. Click on the post name to go there. If you get a message like this: We cannot proceed. No matches. Please use your back button to return to the previous page. it means your post was removed from public view for reasons (4) or (6) above.
