I know this subject has been raised several times before and I thought it was resolved, but apparently it hasn't. About a year and a half ago, I pointed out that GE updated/replaced/overlayed a good satellite image with a heavily cloud covered image. After some discussion, I was led to understand that GE did have a policy that considered image quality over currency before making updates. Several month later, there was a good quaity image installed. Now again, I see part of the same area overlayed with a heaviliy cloud covered image again. Have I missunderstood the GE update policy? The area of interest I am refering to is between N37.086, E126.952 and N37.010, E127.150 |

Hi. I discovered the same yesterday. Take a look on Pattaya in Thailand. It is unbelievable, halve of the city is under thick clouds. This is not professional. If they do so, Google Earth is not funny anymore. |
