Hello, I see that some people have successfully connected their Garmin ForeTrex 101/201 units to Google Earth Plus (all with version 3x). Unfortunately, everything that I have tried with version 4x and my MacBook Pro has consistently failed. I have further reviewed all the instructions, experimented with different settings, and done many basic troubleshooting actions without change. However, the Garmin unit is easily connected to the Mac OS X based programs of GPSUtility, MacGPS Pro, and TOPO! each and everytime. WTF?! Any suggestions to get my Garmin connected out there? Is this a Mac OS X specific issue? Is there a beta version that someone would like me to test? BTW, where is the official Google Earth GPS device compatibility list? I only see a list of devices unofficially mentioned in this forum. “Technological change is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal.” (Albert Einstein, 1941), Dr. Z.
