I'm starting Google Earth with a KML file from Excel as described on the web page: http://www.processtrends.com/pg_google_earth.htm This works fine and the addresses contained in the KML file are displayed with push pins in google earth. Is there a way to start Google Maps from Google Earth and include all the GE pushpins in GM? If I start GM from the GE toolbar, none of the pushpins displayed in GE are displayed in GM. The web site above states GM and GE can load the same KML file, but GE loads the KML file from a local disk and GM loads the file from a web site. I've loaded the example KML from the web site and it works. My KML file is on a local disk and GM fails to load this local file. I could possibly copy the KML file to a web site, then load into GM, but there must be a simpler way. thanks. |
