Looks like fun. I would like to put my houseboat into that pond!

Yes....I especially liked the Grand Canyon water fill. I just hope it doesn't give someone the idea that this would be a good thing to do! I could just imagine some US politician saying it would be good for the environment to use clean hydro power... :-)

I've written about this, and your sea levels rising post, at Google Earth Blog. Great work!

what a great idea!

Zolibácsi!
do not you feel you should put your model boat (downgraded) on the surface with a realistic movement, endpointed near the viewer?
well? in a "boat version" or something?

Oh Dear syzygy!
It would be very difficult to create what you want. But, I will think about that. Anyway this Timeline is only a method, what possible to create in GE.

Hi Frank!

Thanks for your article in GE Blog. Of course I don't want anybody to rise sea levels. Last year I visited to California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Fresno), so I want to see these places more inthe future!
SF is one of the nicest place i've ever seen!

Save our world to live in!
Anyway my posts (rising sea levels) is only a game. What to create in GE!
Thanks again!

Best regards

That's spectacular indeed! Thanks a lot for this effort.

By watching at the animation I just wondered how you can assign the visibility of an overlay to a certain time or date on the timeline. Do you need Google Earth Plus or even Pro to do that?

A while ago i intended to do something similar in another context, but couldn't find out how to do it.
