Blurring and Updation

I see most of the places in US have been blurred or whitened. Why so???? Further, How often these maps are updated....I see the Hyderabad map of India is very old....

Hi, there generally is an update to the database every month - stay tuned to the news section for updates
Also check the link in my signature ''Google Earth Resolution Differences'' for further explainations about the different types of images
