Sun traking in Google Earth

|
I would like to place the sun in the sky and see how it moves across the sky to see if I should consider solar power option for my home. Is that possible, similar to sketchup with its shadows

I figured it out,
you can import the terrain from google earth into Sketchup, from there you can draw a simple box for your home then cast shadows. Next draw a line from the edge of the box to the corresponding shadow edge and then place a construction line on the line so it goes off into infinity, it should point to the placement of the sun in the sky.
