My Earth becomes ALL OF THE PLANETS!!!

Everybody, I kmow this is a mars database but I'm going to post something about all of the planets. I am posting an image overlay folder of image overlays of all the planets I posted before singly. With one click of the button, you can change Earth into ALL THE PLANETS! Yep, CHECK IT OUT!

The moderators said that it was a problem to post all of them individually because it cluttered up the database. They asked me to put all of them in a folder and post the folder.

I think that the overlays were all right. The overlays dont completly cover Earth and theres like a seam. The least you could have done is expand the image sizes!

Hi Colbar and bpsmith007,
the user yea_bring_it_on made several overlays, one for each planet -and satelite- he wanted to show.
If you download his placemark, you get this:
See I've checked only Moon image overlay so I could see the Earth as if it was the Moon. You can check and uncheck the different overlays in order to see the different planets.

 Don't get discouraged. Keep practicing. Most of the negative comments are from users with almost no posts. Good constructive comments & explanation, Dulce . I/we all started with great excitement with our own first posts, not realizing the finer intricacies of the software as well as mapping/cartography nuances. Keep creating and you'll continue to learn and get proficient. When I look at some of my earlier KML's about one year ago, they were so rudimentary and amateurish. I've deleted a few and updated others. If you search through my oldest and look what I posted, it was basic placemarks and not-very-well-placed overlay maps (Ski Zermatt) . Most recently my posts have gotten pretty involved (Jamaica Me Krazy) with lots of double-checking, hyperlinks, overlays, altitude placemarks, video clips, colors, images, logos all embedded into the KMZ. Welcome to the GE BBS and thanks for participating.

I thought they were pretty good as well- after I got done feeling like a total retard when I couldn't figure out why the place I was looking at was GRAY... I finally figured it out on my own when I was looking through my folders and unchecked a box...and it went back to the earth view... Ah well... we all have our moments, right?

You did a great job exept for one minor mishap. The Mercury overlay turns into the moon. And the moon has a gigantic crater that I'm not sure is really there!?
