Winter Sky

The Winter Night Sky, best night sky of the year, with Orion, Taurus, and Pliedes, one of the most beautiful constellations, all visible on winter evenings in the northern hemisphere. The nebulae in Orion can be seen with binoculars, and the six visible stars of Pliedes is revealed as some two-hundred stars.
Taurus is on the solar ecliptic and sometimes Mars, Jupiter, or Saturn is seen near Aldebaran, the bright star in Taurus.
