Westerlund 2

The HII region Gum 29 nebula (RCW 49) glows from ionised hydrogen and other gases, energized by radiation from hot, young stars in Westerlund 2, the cluster near the centre of the region. Dust in the nebula also reflects starlight.
The Gum Nebula is one of the closest supernova remnants and is one of the largest known emission nebula in terms of angular diameter as seen from Earth.

Placemark also features guest appearances from two unusual stars WR 20a and WR 20b, (and perhaps two asteroids).
