Well, I don't have any pets, so here are some of my visitors

Curious baby got down the steps and then couldn't get up again!

Ciao
Unfortunately, no pets at home but I'd like to share this story.
These two guys are Ernesto and Luigi, who got lost in the bush when they were just a few weeks old. Probably their mother died and they had no chance to survive but were lucky enough to stumble across my friend Silvia.
Ernesto (or Luigi) in his early days at Silvia's
She didn't know how to feed and nurse hedgehog babies but got some good help from a wildlife health centre in Switzerland, whose suggestions about food and behaviour were definitely appropriate.
Ernesto (or Luigi) during a weight checkup
After a few months, the two spiky brothers became robust and healthy. And ready to go back to wildlife. They were strong enough to try their own way. So Silvia left the gate of their pen open for two or three nights. And one morning Ernesto and Luigi were not there anymore: they started their adventure throughout the world.
This was during summer 2006, approximately at 43.7039 11.232
Bye b

We do have the odd local visitor . Our Previous Rainbow (Joe) used to taunt this cat.. :-)
They are only out in the Aviary during the daytime if it is warm. If it's to cold for me, it's to cold for them and they stay inside:-)

Bath Time...

Every-Birdy has to wait until Ernie has finished his bath.:-)

Oh rats! Have new Vista. Can't get pix out of camera. Can't get pix out of old crasher. Here's a gobby horrid MS Paint version of Jambo, aka: Mr. Whiney-pants.
"OH yeah, Bebop, them spikey mice look dee-lishus!"
And, what's with all the black cats around here? How seasonally appropriate!
