Trying to build airspace blocks
      #1053308 - 11/15/07 05:49 PM

Hi everybody:

I have been browsing for the last hours and I couldn´t end up on a solution or maybe I am too dummy.

I work as an Air Traffic Controller in Spain. For instruction procedures, It will be very helpfull to have an 3d model of our airspace. I found very good job done on this kml: global ais but our data are not public (by the moment ;-), so it doesn´t appear.

We have geografical data for the polygons that we have. They are stored on this format. This are the borders

401351N 0005532W
401351N 0001320E
394622N 0000852E
393900N 0001321E
393900N 0000600W
393559N 0002351W
400000N 0010000W

and the volume goes from 12500 feet up to 24500 feet. We have many 3d objects like this.

Is there any way to import this data at once as an 3d objetc on GE? I tried using this helpfull spreadsheet

but it didn´t work.

Also tried to import it as .csv files but continuously got same error message:

"We haven´t found any element on the file xxxxxx"

Any help will be granted a free visit to the Terminal Area Air Traffic Control Center at Valencia and a couple beers .

Thank you in advance,

Á.G.

Hola

Suerte!

Gerardo
