That's what it looks like, just caught the sun's glare a little more, as did some of the rocks in the area. As a taxpayer, just barely, it irritates me that to be able to tell if this is a rock or plane part, we need the same resolution that our more famous boss partner, the govt. ALREADY HAS!!!!!!!Don't try the little blue pill for this one, folks.
See, this is where you guys are wrong. You believe that every piece of imagery the government has is so good you can see a quarter on the ground. Its just not that easy. Dont believe everything you see in the movies.
Here is imagery released to the press during the Kosovo conflict.

We get stuff better than this, but we do have to work with crappy imagery too.

My next promised programing task has been completed.
The form for my KML generator at http://environmentalchemistry.com/fossettsearch/ can now accept coordinates in either decimal degrees or degrees minutes seconds. Also the use of the degree sign in DMS coordinates is optional as long as there is a space between the degrees and minutes. The form will automatically covert DMS coordinates into decimal degree coordinates needed by my KML generator.
I'm sure this will make some people very happy.

I think my thoughts are shared by many/most here...
Without you efforts to get the new images and the site you have created we would still be looking at 1m images and wondering about the contents of SB2 that were never released on MTurk for whatever reason...Thanks Ken...

When I was an Urban Planning student, someone was saying(I don't remember who)that the gov had satellites that could "IMAGE" a toothpick IN REAL TIME on the street.
Yeah, back in my early 20's I was an EMT and had a patient tell me she was pregnant with an alien baby. Dont believe everything you hear from someone else.
i'm not saying NIIRs 9's dont exist, but what im saying is that not every single piece of earth we read out is the pristine imagery you think we have.
