I have been asked by Ken to act as the liaison between the Boychuk Family and the other SAR groups for this mission. I have sent out initial emails introducing ourselves and what we are doing. On Monday I will contact the other SAR organizations to gather information for us to put together a briefing document for searchers to read before viewing the imagery.

Dear Mr. Penguin,

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Why would I want to search outside of the imagery that has been provided? Searching outside would only be looking at what the area looked like before Boychuk made his ill fated flight and would contribute nothing towards finding the poor man and his airplane. That would be pure nonsense. If that is the interpretation that you get when you read these posts then that would explain why it is difficult for me to follow your logic.

I suggest that you reread what I wrote about the accepted concept of beginning a SAR at the last know position of the object of the search. In this case that would be Spense Bridge. If you have evidence that Boychuk did not report his position over Spense Bridge, then I would be very glad to see it and maybe we can settle the issue.
