Lrae, As usual, you have provided lucid and complete explanations that greatly helped with explaining the question. Thanks, and congratulations on your new title.

Good find. You may find this helpful. Though it's taken me a while, I've learned to (almost) always turn on Keyhole community bbs (third from the bottom under the keyhole tab on the viewer). I often find that someone has left a placemark, and often even a link to the site in question. This also helps to see if it is a new sighting. Try it and find the link repeated here

RAF Vulcan bomber. Saw one at an air show in Omaha.

With no known exceptions, the cost of internal trust, efficiency and loyalty is external distrust. The "us against them" is not an optional feature, if there were some way to preserve the loyalties and the tremendous benefits of internal trust without paying the cost of the ferocious xenophobia, then that would be just what we want to do. But we don't know how to do that.

There is one bbs post of the B-1 bomber located here[/url] http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/dir.htm but this place needs a bit more attention. Lots of great stuff, includung the B-1.

Not all aircraft boneyards are as big. Some are smaller like this near Kingman, AZ. Pan around for other areas at this site with mothballed or dismantled planes.

On December 4, 2004, The "Liberty Belle" , a restored B-17 Superfortress, taxied away from the Flying Tigers Warbird Museum at Kissimee, Florida airport, and flew for the first time since the 1965. To watch the take off click here. (And check out the Hurricane Charley Damage Photos at the Warbird link!........I remember similar photos of hurricane damage, but can't find the post...sorry)
