According to Alan Turnbull over at secret-bases GE has captured evidence of CIA ' Extraordinary Rendition' flights at RAF Northholt . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Article-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Secret CIA terrorism flights at RAF Northolt
Allegations of "extraordinary rendition" flights utilising UK military airfields have been widely reported for several years and the worldwide community of aviation enthusiasts – or "plane spotters" – has proved invaluable in charting their movements. The camera and the registration number on the tail never lie! Well, until the numbers are changed!
Rogue jets licensed to CIA "ghost companies" have been tracked landing at various locations, en-route between the USA, Iraq, Afghanistan and sinister "black prisons" – clandestine interrogation and torture facilities set-up after the "9/11" incidents, in the global "war on terror".
Consider the whole theme of my website, www.secret-bases.co.uk, established in 2003. Then imagine my astonishment in December 2007, when I discovered that some of my favourite research tools – Google Earth and Windows Live Local Bird's Eye aerial photography – apparently showed rendition operations being carried out at one of the UK's most important, secure and sensitive military bases! CIA caught on camera?
Be intrigued, amazed, shocked, outraged – all of the above. But above all, be entertained by the power of public domain information, available from open sources! Analyse my research findings and draw your own conclusions!

From RAF Northolt home page
The Station is proud of both its history and its current role, in particular as the home of number 32 (The Royal) Squadron. Official visitors cover the widest spectrum and include British and Foreign Royalty, Heads of State and Government Ministers, military personnel of both the British and Foreign armed forces and many civilian VIPs and celebrities who enjoy the privacy and first-class passenger handling service available.
Other areas of Ops Wing: Operations Squadron (Operations Flight, Security Flight), Air Movements Squadron (Civilian Airhead Detachment, Shift and Air Cargo Sections), Airfield Support Squadron (Air Traffic Control and Fire Section) and Station Flight. Operations Flight manages an average of 12,000 air movements per year (a single landing or take-off is classed as one air movement) of which a maximum of 7,000 are civil air movements.
So I think these Bizjets are there so the rich and famous don't have to mingle with the lesser mortals at Heathrow or Gatwick

I lived just next door in the mid 90's and yes, as well as the Royal jet, there are many "Stars" that fly in and out of Northolt.
There were many Learjet types that flew in, all dark grey with no markings, I always wondered about them.
Northolt was also the place that Princess Diana's body was flown back to.

Thanks for picking up on my CIA Rendition article here on the GE forum.
I should make it clear that, yes the celebrity and VIP bizjets operate from Northolt, as I acknowledge in the article. But they don't have access to the high security military area in the north west corner, where I identify the curious ambulance on standby adjacent to the Cessna Citation (known to be used by CIA staff) and the Gulfstream.
The southern apron is where the VIP flights will be operated from, not the military secure area to the north west. Remember that whenever Northolt has a Family Day, you will note that the visiting aircraft can be viewed in the north east corner of the airfield. The north west sector is strictly off limits.
Check out the original article and all is explained. But you still have to come to your own conclusions!
