On a sidenote granny I love your avatar toes. Mine are very much the same and it is good to see some like. I get teased a lot for tiny toes.

This is a really cool find! I just joined the Google Earth Community and this is the first thing that I've discovered through the bulletin board that's really excited me. Thanks!

Thank You for your efforts in putting the Badland Guardian pics on Wikipedia, but it seems wikipedia has taken them off.

I found an article in the Times Online in the UK that had a pic and mentions the Indian Head, so if anyone is interested here is a link http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/the_web/article1390971.ece

This is a truly amazing geological formation. The relief is so realistic and artful, it is hard to believe that it just happened.
There is a Cree story posted on The Jacksonville Zoo and Garden website about snakes. It goes as follows:
There is a serpent legend among the Northern Cree, in and around Bulkley Lake, British Columbia. This legend tells of a boy named Fast Bird, who was the messenger for his village. On one perilous trip he met an evil serpent. An old woman gave him three special arrow points and he was able to kill the serpent, and go on to become chief.
If you look at the surrounding area of the chief's head, you can see his hand holding an arrow head and the figure of a woman holding the other two out to him. You can also see the slain snake in his line of vision formed by the tail shaped lake and on down to the eye on its head. Is that his bow behind him?
This is great fun!

I found this video on You Tube about the Indian Head. It says it originally aired in 2006 on CHAT-TV from Reporter Dale Hunter. This was the winner of the RTNDA National- TV - short feature award for that year. I found it really interesting. Here is the link http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=aGhhCwDXO74
