Ancient Oak Pollards at Munain

The 300 ha of the community owned woodlands belonging to the villages of Munain and Okariz contain contain around 300 magnificent oak pollards exceeding 4m in girth. The Ancient Tree Forum of Great Britain were hosted by the Mayor of Munain on a tour of these champions on 24th June 2008.

Do you have any more info on the pollards? Age, still being used/managed? Any photos?
Also a link to the Ancient Tree Forum would be good.
Plus, took me a while to figure out where Munain is
